The 8th Annual Run with the Cops starts and finishes in Historic Old Sacramento, near the California State Railroad Museum.
Packet Pickup on Friday, September 20, 2024
You may pick up your race packet or register on Friday, September 20 from 10am - 6pm at Fleet Feet Sacramento (2311 J St, Sacramento, CA 95816). You can also pick up your bib on race day in Old Sac starting at 7:00 am

Old Sacramento Waterfront, Front Street between J & I (near the California State Railroad Museum).
Race Parking
Two-hour metered street parking is available throughout Old Sacramento. Two parking garages are also available:
Old Sacramento Garage, entrance on I Street between 3rd and 2nd.
Tower Bridge Garage, entrance on Capitol Blvd at Neasham Circle near the Tower Bridge.

Course
Starting in Old Sacramento on Front Street - near the California State Railroad Museum - the course travels south on 2nd Street, under Capitol Mall, and returns north on the bike trail. The course is 100% paved and mostly flat.

Register early to be guaranteed a shirt in your size.
Awards & Age Divisions
12 & under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 10yr. increments to 80+. This is a stroller-friendly event. Strollers will need to start at the back of the pack.
Awards ceremony to follow the event at 9:45 am. Prizes for overall winners and top three finishers in each age division. All kids in the Kids’ Fun Runs receive medals. First place boy and girl in both Kids Fun Runs receive plaques.
Ace Award
The Ace Award is presented to the top male and female Law Enforcement Officer running in uniform.
Free Entry for LEOs running in Full Uniform
Any law enforcement officer who runs in full uniform and gear (you may wear running shoes).
Strollers Welcome
Strollers are allowed to participate in the 5K Run/Walk. Kids under the age of two may ride in a stroller, with no additional registration needed. Please start behind the runners.
Pet Policy
Due to the fact that several working K9 officers will be participating in the event, we cannot allow any pets on the course. Please leave your pets at home. For the safety of everyone, this policy will be strictly enforced.
